Hello.

My name is Andrew and I have lived in the UK all of my life, but I have never described myself as British.

My parents emigrated from Italy in the mid 60s and all my family is from Italy so I always say that although I have always lives in England, my spirit is Italian.

This causes some internal confusion though. I do love an espresso but I am not particularly stylish. I can get emotional about football but I get frustrated when someone decides to just create another queue for one desk at Check In in an Italian airport.

My blog is a look at life either side of France and I make no apologies if it looks as if everything in Italy is great!
