Airlines And Oil Companies - By Not Passing On Price Cuts You Look Like Thieves

Admittedly it is a drum I keep on banging but this is important.

In a perfect world, companies that annoy the public will be shunned and go down eventually but this does not happen.

Airlines like British Airways, Virgin, Swiss are not reducing their fuel surcharges by enough. The same is true of the oil companies who are keeping pump prices high despite the falling price of crude.

They all need to know that by dragging their heels to preserve a few days of higher prices, they simply look like thieves.

Even the politicians are noticing.

Perhaps we need to maintain a list of the companies that are effectively taking the piss so that when the global economy turns around, we can say to them “Listen, you stole my money at a time when I really needed it so now you want my business, forget it”.

I am calling out Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and Swiss initially.

If you have any example of other companies doing the same, please add them in the comments.
