I know this was posted months ago but I felt compelled to post.
What nerve you guys have in saying Spain won without honour. And talk about winning cleanly, Holland was the worst! Their tactic all game was to bully Spain, dangerous tackles… kick to the chest which looked intentional. They knew they could not win by playing clean. Spain stayed true to their style of play (passing and moving players around the pitch consistantly) How many cards did Holland compile in the final as compared to Spain ?
I understand you guys were bitter….had a nice run though. The comments posted though hold no merit. After all Spain are the more talented and that’s a fact.

I agree, he did a ‘Beckham’ (wc 98, eng-arg) but he was not sent off. I think his parents are dolphins and Howard Webb has been awarded a villa at the costa del sol. Webb is a disgrace for football. Players showing imaginery cards should receive cards themselves. Webb should feel very ashamed!

I agree!! I can’t believe everyone praising him! he never stopped diving around, I stopped watching it as I got so bored with them doing it. This tournament I’ve seen Spain get 3 players sent off through diving, there’s only 7 games!! and that’s what I’ve seen! There all bad, but Iniesta is so irritating! he’s worse than, Ronaldo, Drogba and Gerrard put together!

And I agree: he should have been sent off for shoving Van Bommel and diving like a dolphin. I would have congratulated Spain had they won cleanly, but they didn’t. Worst. World Cup Final. Ever.
