It sounds desperate and it is.

A desperate attempt to try to ‘connect with Joe Six Pack’.

Every time I hear or see someone talk about Joe The Plumber, they just look and sound totally stupid. They are using him like some sort of sock puppet as if he is suddenly the voice of America.

Anyone could confront a Presidential candidate and ask a dumb question but why is he being picked out for such coverage? I wonder.

In addition, Every time I hear Sarah Palin speak, she makes my skin crawl. She continues to talk in this ridiculous way that tries to mark her out as straight talking, some kind of Mom next door who can simplify all the big words that the boys use like “economy” and “budget”.

The Republican and Democratic rallies are following very different paths. At the Democratic ones, Obama says something positive and the crowd cheers. At Republican rallies, McCain or Palin say something and the crowd boos.

It shows that the Democrats are staying positive and on message while the only message the Republicans have are those trying to criticise the Democrat ones.
