I was on an Easyjet flight from BSL to STN last night, it always amazes me how many people still think that getting to the gate first and standing there will get you on the plane first.

Boarding groups were introduced around three years ago, Speedy Boarding more recently so why do people still do it?

They are just setting themselves up for disappointment when they get told “Not yet, you are Boarding Group B, we are only calling Speedy Boarders right now”.

So, Dear Idiots, how about you just stay clear of the gate and wait for your Boarding group to be called?
